GippsTAFE Warragul administration ranks highest among peers

Warragul’s GippsTAFE campus administration team has received the TAFE’s All-of-Institute award for excellence, having been awarded both the responsiveness and CEO awards for its work in the past year.
The Warragul campus ranked ahead of other campuses in Gippsland competing for the awards.
According to a GippsTAFE media release, the award is given to both teams and individuals who exhibit “high levels of professionalism” and who make “an outstanding contribution” to their campus.
The winning team includes Julie Welfare, Cathrine Righton, Jennifer Leeson, Ruth Lazarus and Wendy Nott.
The Warragul team was noted for its “exemplary customer service skills, initiative and flexibility… in undertaking coordination, preparation, procurement and administrative support”, which has improved the Warragul campus’ ability to “consistently exceed targets in the Skills Development delivery area.”
