Keenly interested in local affairs and services and will bring strengths in policy but more importantly implementing policy and accountability to Baw Baw. Should I be elected my main priority will be to initiate a full independent review into the roles and functions of Council to seek efficiencies and cost savings where appropriate to minimise the financial impact for all residents. Born and raised in Warragul and resides on a small cattle property in Brandy Creek that he shares with his partner Sue. The family name has been associated with Warragul and surrounding areas for over 100 years. He runs a couple of small companies including FGM Consultants a Registered Training Organisation that won the 2012 Victorian Government Small Training Organisation of the Year. Is Founding President of the Baw Baw Big Blokes Inc. a major fundraising body assisting in financing developments in men’s health in Baw Baw, is a member of the Warragul Golf Club, financial member of the Committee for Gippsland and a past board member of the Gippsland Area Consultative Committee. In relation to professional memberships he sits on the State Committee of ACPET (Australian Council for Private Education & Training) is an Associate Member of MINTRAC (meat industry training authority), and holds personal registrations as a Registered Lead Food Safety Auditor and Quality Auditor Registered with RABQSA.

International consultancies have included projects in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (Ministry of Municipalities, and Jordanian Meat Industry), Egypt, Korea, Japan, South Africa, Namibia, Papua New Guinea and Samoa
