MOUNT Worth Ward councillor-elect Bill Harrington will retire from council after 19 years at the 2016 Baw Baw Shire Council elections.
Cr Harrington, who has just been re-elected to the council, told The Warragul Citizen today in a video interview (below text) he plans to retire at the next election.
“This will definitely be my last term,” Cr Harrington said.
“I think I’ve been there long enough and I certainly look forward to a busy time in the next four years, but my hair is going greyer and it’s time for someone else to take over in four years time.”
Mr Harrington said his priority for his last term would be road maintenance.

“My aim is to get the roads in the ward up to scratch because some of the primary produces out there are having trouble getting their product out to the market,” Cr Harrington said.
