The 61-year-old DSE firefighter from Tyers died on Sunday while preparing containment lines in Tasmania.
Over 70 Victorian firefighting personnel were deployed to the island state earlier this month after bushfires broke out.
Brigades around Victoria have mourned the loss of Mr Cramer, who served in several parts of the state in his 30-year DSE career.
Mr Cramer was a CFA volunteer for over 20 years.
