THE FICIFOLIA Festival’s love-themed parade went ahead in Drouin this afternoon despite the rain. WBBC was there and snapped these photos.

Great Pics WBBC. Thanks for braving the rain to get them.
Uphill in the rain well done drouin scouts
Looks like it was a fabulous day and well done to the organisers.
Without putting a damper on things, can I ask for balloons to not be given out and released for the next festival? They have such a negative effect on the environment, impacting on birdlife, marine life and wilderness.
See http://balloonsblow.org/Education for some info – but there are many articles on the internet. In many European countries they have been eliminated from organised events for decades.
Looking forward to another great festival next year
I loved the photo of Billy at the top he is a very hard and honest worker in the community, I was there on the day the year before it was 35 degrees and the people still showed up in big numbers it shows how much people love the town thank-you Wayne
