[Host] The Baw Baw Shire Coucil held its End of year Business Networking Function last Thursday. The evening was focused around the theme “Carbon Conversatons,” and looked at what can be achieved in the area with the Federal Government’s Clean Energy package.

[Host] Regional Director of the Department of Planning and Community Development in Gippsland Jane Oakley was one of the speakers at the event, and said that the progress being made by both the State Government and locals was encouraging.

[Host] I caught up with Jane after she gave her speech and asked her which areas in particular the State Government was focusing on for Gippsland.
