A MAN has been arrested following a death in Warragul this morning.

Police responded to a report of a seriously injured man on Churchill Street at around 6.45am, arriving to find a 53 year old Warragul man deceased.

Acting Sergeant Julie-Anne Newman said in a media release a 26 year old Warragul man was arrested at the scene.

“He is assisting police with their enquiries,” she said.
