Victoria’s education department has advised 23 Baw Baw schools and early childhood services will not open tomorrow due to fire risk.

UPDATE 10.30PM: Readers have informed us of schools that will be closed which have not been included in the department’s list. If your/your child’s school is not on the list, contact your school or the department for confirmation.

Local schools which will not be open tomorrow, Monday 4 March, are:
- Buln Buln Primary School,
- Chairo Christian College Drouin Campus & early learning campus,
- Drouin Secondary College Campus,
- Drouin South Primary School,
- Drouin West Primary School,
- Jindivick Primary School,
- Lardner and District Primary School,
- Longwarry Primary School,
- Ripplebrook Primary School,
- St Ita’s Catholic School Drouin, and
- Warragul & District Specialist School.
Early childhood services which will not open tomorrow are:
- Buln Buln Primary School OSHClub,
- Drouin Holiday Program,
- Drouin Kindergarten,
- Drouin Primary Early Learning Centre,
- Drouin west Primary School OSHClub,
- Goodstart Early Learning Drouin Campus,
- Kindergarten After the Bell Aus – Drouin Primary School campus,
- Longwarry Kindergarten,
- Longwarry Primary School OSHClub,
- Oak St Kinder Drouin,
- Sparrow Early Learning Drouin Campus, and
- Waterford Rise Early Learning Centre.
