Greens campaigner Charlotte Maybery-Reupert said the response to her party in the largely conservative seat of Narracan had been good.

“We haven’t had any verbal abuse, which is nice in a Liberal seat,” she told the Warragul & Baw Baw Citizen.

“Everyone’s been pretty accepting and tolerant of it all, this is both of our (her and fellow campaigner Caitlin Irwin) second time handing out how-to-vote cards so it’s been a nice experience meeting everyone.”

The Liberal Party’s Bill Keddie, who has already put over 40 hours into the campaign for Gary Blackwood’s re-election, said the voters’ response to his how-to-votes had been “very positive.”

“No problems in this area,” he said.

A Labor campaigner said “people have been nice and courteous and so have other people been handing out.”
