Cash and cameras worth $2100 stolen from van: Warragul

A 62-year-old man is without $2100 of cash and camera gear after his van was broken in to in Warragul last Monday.

Police told The Warragul Citizen a wire-type implement was used to force open the lock of the man’s white 1997 Toyota van at some time between 9.45am and 10.35am.

The van was parked in the residential area of Warragul-Korumburra Road.

An $800 Pentax camera, $400 flash, $500 lens and $100 camera bag were stolen from the front seat.

A $150 Canon camera was taken from the glove box and $150 in cash was taken from the centre console.

Police are encouraging anyone with information about the theft to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
