THE CFA had downgraded its Watch and Act warning for Brandy Creek, Bravington, Buln Buln, Crossover, Drouin West and Rokeby to an advice message.

In the message the fire service said the grass fire in Drouin West had been stopped by firefighters and activity had subsided.

“You are no longer under any threat,” the message said.
Main Neerim Road remains closed between Old Sale Road and Old Telegraph Road and smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads.
A bushfire in Jindivick which previously threatened Rokeby has also been declared safe.
Residents are advised to continue to monitor conditions. Up to date information can be found at cfa.vic.gov.au.

THE CFA has issued a Watch And Act message for Brandy Creek, Bravington, Buln Buln, Crossover, Drouin West and Rokeby for a grass fire in Drouin West.This warning replaces the previous emergency warning for Rokeby and Watch And Act for the area, but the small grass fire in Jindivick which caused those warning remains uncontrolled.
A wind change has caused the small fire in Drouin West to change direction. It is now travelling in a north easterly direction from Drouin West towards Rokeby.
The fire is now expected to impact Bravington, Rokeby and Crossover any time between 3PM and 4PM.
This Watch and Act Message replaces the Emergency Warning previously issued for Rokeby.

AN EMERGENCY warning has been issued for Rokeby for a small fast moving grass fire travelling south from Jindivick.
UPDATE 12.45PM: A Watch And Act message has been issued for Brandy Creek, Bravington, Buln Buln, Buln Buln East, Crossover and Nilma North. The fire could impact Buln Buln and Brandy Creek any time between 1PM and 3 PM. CFA advises residents leaving the area travel to Warragul CBD or Neerim South township.
The fire is travelling from Main neerim Road South toward Buln Buln and Brandy Creek.
The CFA has said Rokeby residents could be impacted any time within the next hour.
Eighteen vehicles are presently at the fire.
Small bushfires are also burning uncontrolled at Drouin, Warragul North area, Brandy Creek and Labertouche.
