THIEVES stole a drum of copper wire worth $1000 from SP AusNet’s Warragul depot over the weekend, and might have taken more had they not been disturbed.

Police told The Warragul Citizen thieves cut a hole in the Normanby Street depot fence to get in and a second drum had been moved, suggesting the thieves may have been disturbed by returning workers.
