THE BAW Baw Shire has begun a study of parking in Drouin in response to concerns raised by community members and the Drouin and District Business Group.

A spokesperson for the council said it is hoped the study will lead to “improved management of the available parking spaces” and further community input is sought.

Mayor Murray Cook said in a media release the focus is on efficiency.

“This is a great opportunity to have your say to create a more efficient parking system within the Drouin Town Centre area,” Cr Cook said.

Submissions to the study can be made via the Baw Baw Shire Council website.
