Drouin man charged with drug offences after motel arrest

Police have accused a Drouin man of trafficking, possessing, and using drugs.

The 40-year-old was interviewed by the Baw Baw Criminal Investigation Unit after a warrant was executed at a Warragul motel on 10 January.

They were later charged with drug offences.

A police spokesperson said a “significant amount” of money was located during the warrant execution.

“Police had been looking for the charged individual for some time,” senior sergeant Duncan Bartley told the Baw Baw Citizen.
