[News short] V/LINE is warning commuters major cancellations are expected for all lines after a signal fault in Melbourne.
UPDATE 2.35pm: The fault has been corrected. The first service to depart Southern Cross was the 2pm service. Cancellations are still expected.
The regional rail operator said on Twitter it is “unlikely” there will be enough buses to replace trains and thanked passengers for their patience.
V/Line has suspended all lines.
