Police operation in Yarragon partially closes Gippsland line

THE GIPPSLAND rail line has been suspended east of Warragul due to a police operation in Yarragon.

UPDATE (15:13) – The line has been reopened, but V/Line has advised that previously altered services will remain altered.

V/Line has advised commuters trains will be operating for services between Warragul and Melbourne, but those travelling toward Traralgon will have to board a bus.
Road coaches will connect Yarragon, Trafalgar, Moe, Morwell and Traralgon to Melbourne.
