QUEEN Street will be reopened soon after inspectors declared the former Petersville Milk Factory safe this morning.

The road was closed between mason and Gladstone streets on Friday after strong winds threatened to rip loose cladding from the former “Bonlac” site.

Inspectors made the decision to reopen the road in light of this morning’s calmer weather.

Works to secure loose materials on the site are underway.
