The Victorian Government has committed $80,000 for improvements to the Baw Baw Mobile Library.
The funding will provide a new Prime Mover for the West Gippsland Regional Library Corporation.
The state government says the new truck is designed to be environmentally friendly and able to cope with mountain roads.
Member for Narracan Gary Blackwood says the improvement will help small towns.
“Many of our smaller local towns rely on this service, including Rawson, Erica, Willow Grove, Thorpdale and Longwarry, as well as the larger centres of Trafalgar and Yarragon,” Mr Blackwood said.
