Sergeant Heath Hogben told The Warragul Citizen this morning three thefts had been reported, all of which from cars with unlocked doors.

“You’re just asking for trouble when you do that,” Sgt Hogben said.

Two of the reported thefts were on Park Street.

Loose change was stolen from one car, which was accessed through an unlocked rear door.

A wallet was stolen from the other Park Street car.

In November last year police said there had been a rise in thefts from unlocked vehicles across Baw Baw and reminded residents to always lock their cars.
