Updated: Bus replacements and delays for Gippsland line

V/LINE has updated its travel advice following the suspension of Gippsland line services at Moe.

Heavy rain over the weekend damaged tracks between Moe and Traralgon, and V/Line is yet to announce when the line will reopen.

Traralgon line services could arrive up to 45 minutes late as connecting busses take over from trains between Traralgon, Morwell and Moe.

Bairnsdale trains will run as busses for the entire journey, adding up to an hour to total journey length.

Service alterations will be reviewed tomorrow.

Commuters have been advised to find alternative modes of transport following rain damage to the Gippsland line over the weekend.

V/Line has suspended services between Traralgon and Moe due to safety concerns.

The damage was sustained on sections of track between Morwell and Traralgon.
