Vehicle with stolen plates used in Longwarry petrol theft

POLICE want public assistance to help identify a man who is alleged to have stolen petrol from Caltex Longwarry using a car with stolen number plates.

A police spokesperson said the vehicle, registration “YWS 247”, was used to steal fuel from the service station at 5am on December 30.
The spokesperson said the vehicle has been “involved in other incidents.”
Police have released an image of the man and car at the service station. (Above.)
