A car wound up on its roof in an empty block after a crash on Warragul’s Queen Street yesterday.
The driver was travelling east along the street when the rear passenger side of their car was clipped by another vehicle turning out of Napier Street, a Warragul Police spokesperson told the Baw Baw Citizen.

According to the spokesperson, the eastbound driver then struck the gutter before crashing through a temporary fence and landing upside down in an empty block.
The driver was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure while fire, police, and the SES crews attended the scene.
Remarkably, the out of control vehicle appears to have made little or no contact with a street sign, parked car, or billboard all within metres of the broken fence.

We wish all those involved a quick recovery.
