WORKS to repair significant surface failures on Warragul-Leongatha Road are due to begin on Wednesday.

The works are expected to be completed in around three weeks, weather permitting, during which the remaining surface will be pulverised, re-sheeted and sealed.

The road will remain unsealed until the end of the works and minor traffic delays are expected.

Electronic signs will inform motorists of the works.
