Police are advising people stay away from a man seen loitering around the Civic Park toilets in Warragul.

A police spokesperson said that while they are unaware of the man committing any offences, their behaviour has caused concern.

“A male, we are guessing they are in their 40s at this time, tall, seen in camo pants and reflective vest, was seen loitering around toilet area,” the spokesperson told the Baw Baw Citizen.

“At various other stages this male has been seen to be frequenting picnic tables at eastern side of the park.”

The person has also been seen frequenting the rear of Smith Street shops and the adjacent Coles Supermarket car park.

“It’s believed these are all the same person.”

The spokesperson advised people not to approach the man, and to call 000 for police attendance if they are sighted.
