POLICE are asking residents to lock their cars up off the street and to keep valuables out of sight after five cars were targeted in another spate of thefts in Drouin last Sunday night.
All five cars had windows smashed to gain entry.
A wallet was taken from the glovebox and cash from the centre console of a car in Phillips Ct, while a handbag with purse was stolen from a car in Toorongo St.

A sports bag with sports clothes, sunglasses and cash were stolen from a car on Wood St and a fuel card was taken from a car in Church St.
A car on Lampard Rd had a window smashed but nothing taken.
Warragul Police Senior Sergeant John Brookes OAM told The Warragul Citizen residents need to take precautions to avoid being targeted.
“We want people to lock up their cars, off-street if possible, keep valuables out of sight,” Sgt Brookes said.
Thefts from vehicles in Drouin have been a big problem since November last year.
