Would-be daylight burglary foiled in Drouin

A Drouin local walked in on a man attempting to break into their house on Friday morning.

A Baw Baw police spokesperson said a Jamescott Drive resident entered their bedroom between 9.45am and 10.15am on Friday 8 June to find someone standing at the window attempting to pierce the fly wire.

The spokesperson said the victim yelled out and the offender ran away without gaining entry to the building.

The offender was described as being male, around 165cm – 170cm tall, and was wearing a grey hoodie and pants.
