A 45-year-old man has been taken to hospital with chest injuries after falling from his bike in Uralla Reserve, Trafalgar, this morning.

Ambulance, police and SES crews responded to the call for help just after 10 am.
The Trafalgar man came off his bike at the north end of Stewart Track.
The man’s condition and location meant Warragul SES volunteers had to use a special eight-wheeled vehicle to extract him.
Without the vehicle the only option for rescue would have been carrying the man out, as trees made helicopter access impossible and transporting him sitting him up in a four wheel drive could have worsened his injuries.

Well done team. Great example of community.
