Small fire closes Warragul Library

THE Warragul Library will be closed tomorrow following a small fire at the facility earlier tonight.
Library staff have thanked fire fighters for their response to the fire and said the damage is yet to be fully assessed.

“We are breathing a little easier after a close call at Warragul Library tonight,” a spokesperson said on social media.
“Massive thanks to the swift response of the Warragul Fire Brigade who quickly brought a small fire under control.
“Warragul Library will definitely be closed tomorrow (Friday 21 November) while the damage from [the] fire is assessed, cleaned up and power restored.
“Hopefully by the end of the day we’ll know when we can open again.”
