Two vehicle collision leaves one dead in Drouin

POLICE are seeking information after a motorcyclist was killed in a two vehicle collision in Drouin this afternoon.

A spokesperson said police believed the motorcyclist, a 25-year-old Traralgon man, crossed to the wrong side of the road after losing control of his bike on Main South Road, colliding with a utility heading north near Porter Place.

The man died at the scene.

The driver and sole occupant of the utility, a 29-year-old Drouin man, sustained minor injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or by visiting www.crimestoppers.com.au.

The incident brings the state road toll to 192; 42 lower than this time last year.
