Four Baw Baw sport clubs share in uniform funding

FOUR Baw Baw area sporting clubs will receive up to $1,000 each from the State Government for the purchase of new uniforms.

The Baw Baw Hockey Club, Drouin Croquet Club, Drouin Junior Football Club and Trafalgar Golf Club are among 286 clubs across the state which will share in $227,500 of funding set aside by the government.

Minister for Sport and Recreation High Delahunty said in a media release the uniforms will increase participation.

“This will attract and accommodate new members, helping to increase participation in sport, as well as nurture talent,” Mr Delahunty said.
